Can I Get Off This Ride Please...

Final Destination 3 is the one with the rollercoater.
Welcome to by the numbers film-making with returning director James Wong.

The second movie of this trilogy is still the best. It acknowledges the set up of the first film then has fun as the characters try and prevent their own deaths.

This is unexceptional. Average is as average does.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead is very cute. Nuff said.

I think I like it a little more than you, Mr Nolan.

FD3 is a fun and very watchable addition to the franchise. It doesn't really do anything new but is still sufficiently fiendish in its methods of offing teenagers to make me smile. The car engine in the back of the head is especially sweet as is naked chicks roasting in sunbeds. Tee Hee.

The cast are all fine, led by the very cute Mary Elizabeth Winstead and James Wong does a solid job of directing it.

Not as memorable as the first one or even the second, but it's a way more entertaining film (and franchise) than most of the rubbish horror efforts Hollywood hurls our way.

I like this franchise. A lot. They've made three really good, fun and enteraining films out of a simple yet ingenious idea. Kudos to the producers for taking the time between films and not just rushing them out each year ala Saw.

I'm looking forward to FD4 - especially as it'll be in 3D. Cool!

Yep, a very poor addition to the franchise. I'm with you on the second being the best, deffo stands up for pleasurable repeat viewings. Unlike this one, that doesn't grab me.

The biggest fault has to be the lack of Ali Larter. Although a struggle to put her in this one I suppose. And I'm not a stickler for poor set ups, but the length of time to get that coaster going is stooo---pid!
